Arson Attack / West Bank
The burned house of Dawabsha family in Duma, a Palestinian Arab town in the West Bank which was firebombed on 31 of July by masked attackers resulting in the loss of life of three of the family members; 18-month-old toddler Ali Dawabsheh was burned alive in a fire, while both his parent died from their injuries within weeks. No charges have yet been filed in the case, though the Israeli security establishment deem Jewish extremists are responsible for the arson. An Israeli media ban prohibiting the publication of details of the investigation into the firebombing is currently in place.
